I guess for me the question would be: why sell it? Unless money is an issue. Keep it' in a drawer. Have it melted down and made in to something else. Throw it in a river. Give it back to your ex-wife.
I still have mine, and it's been 6 years since the divorce. My plan is to sell my rings and put the proceeds toward either my son's braces or his college fund.
I still have two of mine in my jewelry box. I lost the diamond in the engagement ring and replaced it with a sapphire - I intend to give that to my oldest daughter - one of three children of that marriage.

I agree with Jackie. Maybe when you think of a symbolically useful thing to do with the money.
